Veterans' Gazebo Eagle Project

Hi! My name is Sam Peck. This gofundme is intended to raise money for my Eagle Project, which will be taking place next weekend, June 17 and 18. My eagle project will focus on repairing the Gazebo that is located on Cider Mill Road at Crandall Park and which is very close to the Lion's baseball field. The goal of the project is to improve the Gazebo that overlooks Crandall Pond so that it can be a more reflective and pleasant area where members of the town, and specifically veterans, can gather and relax. The smaller tasks that will be completed to fulfill the greater goal are as follows:

-Replacing the deteriorated and rotten cedar roof.

-Removing graffiti from the gazebo.

-sanding and restaining the gazebo.

-removing and replacing plantings around the gazebo.

Donations will go towards paying for asphalt shingles, roofing nails, sandpaper, food, and wood-protecting stain. All proceeds that are made from donations and that are not spent on the project will be donated to Tolland Veterans Recognition Commission.
