ChrisZ rebuilding fund

Everyone who knows Chris Zanella knows he's the first to step up, the first to help out, and the first to think of anybody else and their needs before his own.
A lot of us know him because of his 9 months volunteering in Japan (where he spent more time on project than any other Volunteer), and through his work with the VA.

If you are connected to Chris through Facebook, this morning you would have seen his post .
He lost everything last night in the Santa Rosa fires.

We know it's going to be difficult for him to accept help, but he's helped so many of us, it's time for us to give back to him.

Nobody knows how much they will need in the end, but it will be substantial.
Apart from the immediate needs of clothes and shelter, they will need to find a permanent new home and completely refurnish.
As time goes on we will be able to get a better idea of actual items they will specifically need, and hopefully we can find a way to get a list of specific needs out there.

クリス・ザネラのことを知っている人は誰でも、彼が誰よりも進んで困っている人々を助けようとする人であり、また、自分のことよりも他者を思いやり、困っている人々に必要の手を進んで差し伸べる人であることを知っていると思います。
多くの人々が、東日本大震災での彼の9ヶ月にも及ぶボランティア活動により、彼と知り合いになりました。彼は、日本で復興プロジェクトにボランティアとして、とても献身的な活動を行いました。

クリスとFacebookでつながっている方は、もうご存じかもしれませんが、彼が投稿したカリフォルニアで起こった山火事に関する投稿を見たかもしれません。
大変悲しいことに、その山火事により、彼は自宅やすべてを一夜にして失ってしまいました。

彼が皆さんからの援助を受け入れるのは難しいかもしれませんが、彼が今まで人の手助けをたくさんしてきたように、私達もいま彼が困っている時に手助けをしてあげるべきなのではないでしょうか。

すぐにでも必要な衣料品や避難所だけでなく、山火事で被災した方々には新しい家や生活で必要なものが新たに必要です。
時が経つにつれて、被災した方々が実際にはどういったものが必要なのかが見えてくるのかもしれませんが、寄付を通じて彼に何かしらの手助けができればと考えています。
