Christopher Connolly (Chris)

Dear All

 

I do this broken and sad hearted as a mother after the loss of my beautiful Son Christopher Connolly many of his friends and family know as Chris but Christopher to me his mum always, Bermondsey born and bred one of your own worshipped by his now deceased Nan Connie many of you know too played a big part helping me bring him up single parent such a young age, Christopher so intelligent funny and caring who passed away age 37 years old on the night of Halloween two weeks ago in bed 4am in the morning with his long term partner and fiancé Jenny by his side from a Cardiovascular Heart related issue they are saying as this has had to go through Coroners Court we as a family did not know he had Christopher lived life very few illnesses it doesn't make no sense to any of us friends and family alike.

 

Its a very difficult time for us as a family and I know many of his friends like us are still in shock but have asked me to do this page now, I his mum Karen spoke to him 11.20 pm on the night he passed on the phone the evening of the 31st of October and 1st of November not 5 hours later he was dead 4am, you don't think your Children will die first not how it is suppose to happen and such a young age, his partner Jenny beside herself with grief and Christopher leaves two small babies now facing life without a father Nova who is 3 years old couple of days ago suffers Autism and a new 6 month old baby Lyra about to spend her first Christmas without a dad my one and only child Christopher I know was one of your own loved by his many friends too.

 

Christopher is at Rest in FA Albin & Sons which I couldn't of asked for better knowing he is there as was generations of his family before him Albins are amazing for all the people of Bermondsey dignity and kindness to the dead I know and Christopher can be visited there anyone wishes to view him or wishes to know Funeral arrangements or sign a condolence book you would just need to contact Albins ask.

 

Funeral will take place a Cremation Service in East London sometime in early December Albins can confirm albeit we ask people not to attend or send Flowers to keep costs low instead as many of you had asked me and reason I'm doing this fund raise donate something small for his family and Children facing life without a Father, Partner and me a Son.

 

Christopher left debts and a mortgage he wasn't well off financially just worked to survive in IT which he was excellent at all his friends knew as he helped lots of you with computer issues Scott his best friend from a child too but he lived Christopher to survive and provide for his babies and Jenny like we all do I survive none of us rich but I know he wasn't prepared to die or don't suppose even considered death so young to prepare a future financially who would or does?

 

As a mother my world will never be the same again however anything collected will go to Christopher's Children my beautiful grandchildren and his family who's world now is shattered too and it will help them no matter how small so thank you Karen his mum, Christopher would I know rather something went to them so thank you again at this very difficult time!
