Christmas in Calais

Hi there! Three of us are heading from Dublin to Calais on December 28th. This will be Holly and Isolda's second time volunteering in the Calais refugee camp, and Lola's first. We are members of Ireland Refugee Solidarity and volunteer on a weekly basis back in Ireland.
Our purpose while there will be to documenting life in the camp, helping out where needed be it in the warehouses or camp, and to buy food and supplies for our friends at the Refugee Community Kitchen who have a constant presence in Calais and who feed approx 1200 people a day.
Donations to this page will go towards purchasing food and whatever supplies are required for the camp residents. The situation in the Calais camp changes daily so we will be buying whatever is needed most.
We would love to help towards making sure every resident of the camp has a hot meal over the Christmas period. Every euro counts and we will be so grateful for any and every donation.
