Christmas Toy Drive for Children Hospital

Hello, my name is Jose Cuazitl-Rojas. I am from Georgetown, Delaware. 2020 has not been the best year and I'm pretty sure we can all agree on that but why not end it on a positive note. I have decided to make a change in our community. My whole life I thought Christmas was all about receiving gifts until I realized what it's really about. Christmas is about giving without expecting anything in return but most importantly spending time with your loved ones. Some children don't have the opportunity to spend Christmas at their loving home. COVID has left many families without a source of income due to unemployment. Some parents don't have enough funds to be able to purchase their kids Christmas presents. Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital is an amazing children hospital where the kids are treated with excellent care. For many years, I have wanted to do this but I have never followed through until NOW. Please take action and join me in this act to make a difference in a child's life. I have created this GoFundMe page with the purpose of raising money to purchase Christmas presents for the children at A.I. duPont Hospital.  Due to COVID-19, we will not able to deliver these gifts to the children in person but Nemours has provided us with an Amazon Wishlist that displays the gifts needed or wanted by the children or families. These presents will be delivered directly to the hospital. Every donation counts, you are putting a smile on a child's face. The deadline is December 13, 2020.
