Christmas Miracle for Dixon House

In a year filled with uncertainty, change and hardships, we hope to close it with gratitude, love and a spirit of giving.

December usually marks our annual Jam Jams Jamboree PJ Drive and festive Pancakes with Santa in support of Dixon House. This year, the need is more urgent.

As heart-wrenching as the reality might be, domestic violence has seen record numbers during a pandemic that has also understandably impacted charitable donations.  This is why it is now more important than ever to support our friends at Dixon Transition Society so they can continue to do the important work for women and children seeking safe haven from domestic violence. 

These women and children tell a story of strength, resolve and resilience in the face of trauma and crisis and we hope you will join us to support those who are most vulnerable in our communities.

In light of the times, your generosity means everything and every little bit helps. This Christmas, Dixon Transition Society is working to raise a shortfall of $8,000 in their fundraising goal due to COVID-19 restrictions and the resulting cancellation of their annual Christmas Jazz fundraiser. All proceeds will go towards the operating costs of Dixon House, their 10-bed emergency transition home. We are hoping that with the help of Forge Fam and our community, we can raise $3,000 to towards this bigger goal.
