Christmas gifts for struggling families

So in light of the children’s free meals shambles, it’s got me to thinking of all the children that will be missing out at Christmas this year due to families in financial difficulties that are beyond their control thanks to job losses / furlough / reduced income tax etc.

As I’m sure we are all far too aware, too many ‘normal’ families are falling through the cracks, not meeting the ridiculous criteria’s for help from the government and this is affecting both parents and children alike. 


I am really hoping, that my friends/family/clients could come together and provide some of the struggling families with a helping hand at Christmas this year, as every child deserves a magical Christmas, and no parent wants to have to explain to their children that they simply have to chose between paying the bills and buying presents this year.

I have decided I would like to help in any way to take some of the strain from parents worrying how they can provide gifts this Christmas, and ensure that as many children as possible can wake up to something this Christmas morning,I am asking for new toy donations which can be delivered or collected locally to myself and distributed to struggling families. In addition to this, for those that find it easier to donate money I am asking for any donations, big or small they will ALL help, and I will then use the money collected to buy as many toys / games / treats as possible for children in our area that otherwise wouldn’t be waking up to much this year.

As an incentive to any of my clients, anyone that does donate either via GoFundMe or with a toy etc, will receive £5 off their next appointment with me.
