Christmas Fundraiser for Kabik (Jacmel, Haiti)

Alex and Wolvenson (Papito) are two young men who are always looking to give back to their community. Born and raised in Kabik (Jacmel, Haiti), they now reside in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic where they are studying and working towards a better future. However, they always carry their family and community of Kabik in their hearts and minds. This Christmas they are asking for your contribution to help them bring a little joy back to their community during the holiday season.

The attitude of the Kabik community has always been one of positivity, no matter what is going on around they always maintain that "Life is still good" and "There is still hope to live." Following in this spirit, Alex and Papito are counting on your support to raise $3,000 USD to be used for the following:


Materials:
-Covid-19 PPE kits (hand sanitizers, face masks, gloves, etc.)
-Trash cans to be installed throughout Kabik
-Materials necessary to facilitate community clean-up 
-Paint 

Activities:
-Christmas party for the community and for the children
-Gift distribution within the community
-Organize a community clean up
-Food distribution to Kabik residents



Alex and Papito have been role models and cheerleaders for Kabik, sharing their hospitality with many visitors from all over the world. Their love for their hometown is so infectious that many have come to leave a piece of their heart in Kabik, thinking of it as their second home. They would be grateful for your contribution, to allow them to continue working to improve their own community from within.
