Christmas for the Phelps
I have known Ashlee Phelps since my 8th math class in 2013. Since the day we met, we have been inseparable. She has been the light during my darkest times and I’ve been hers. I would give everything I have to make her life easier.
This year, The Phelps family lost their daughter, Melyssa Phelps. It was a sudden and tragic loss that left Melyssa’s two daughters without a mom, and a family without a daughter and sister. I’ve watched their family struggle to cope with the loss of Melyssa and my heart has ached every day for Ashlee as she experiences her first birthday and Christmas without her sister. This holiday season, I would love to provide the Phelps with a little extra money as they move into an apartment and try to make this season special for Melyssa’s daughters. They have all worked so hard to continue on and never complain about a single inconvenience that comes their way. They have always welcomed me into their home with love and warmth that I would really love to give back to them this month. Anything helps, even kind words. Thank you to the Phelps family for giving me my second home. I love you all so much.
