Christmas for a Veteran Marine family

I'd like to start out by saying Merry Christmas.  Every year myself and a few others sponsor a family or individual for the holidays. This year a young woman who is a single mom and a United States Marine Veteran, has fell on VERY hard times. Her ex hasnt paid child support in 3 years leaving her and her 3 children without a place to live on their own despite working 2 jobs. The 3 of them share a bedroom and living room couch at her mothers home. Right now she is going through extended legal battles to get the child support from her ex that she needs to take care of her families BASIC necessities with nothing left over and usually still short. Between her legal Bill's and everything else, there is no money left to have a christmas. I'm hoping we can raise enough money to not only help her catch up with her Bills (car, legal etc) but to allow her to give her children a christmas. She has NO idea we are doing this. This woman is a hard worker, I met her in one of my classes that's required for the job/career she is studying and training for.. shes always there giving everything shes got to get better. I only learned of her story/situation when I invited her to dinner one night after we had a class that she was clearly stressed out and lost. She needed a time out and a friend.. We were sitting by my fire and out of no where burst into tears and apologizing for it. She told me the story of everything that was going on in her life and of all the abuse. A lot I'm not comfortable sharing here... That's when I decided to pick her for this year.  I know its tough for everyone this time a year and even if we dont reach our goal,  anything to help her and her children is better than nothing :)
