Christmas Backpacks for the Homeless

Christmas can be such a tough and lonely time for those who are homeless.

As the Christmas festivities get under way please spare a thought for those who are cold, tired, hungry and sleeping rough on our streets.

With the help of my husband Dave and daughters Kirsten and Sarah, we are aiming to hand out an estimated 300 Christmas backpacks to the homeless at the Tiglin Homeless Cafe, Light House Centre, Pearse Street on Saturday 19th December. We want to deliver backpacks full of festive cheer. Each waterproof backpack will be packed full of goodies including thermal clothes, hats, gloves, scarfs, face masks, edible treats, toiletries and Christmas goodies. A handwritten Christmas card will also be included from every person who donates.

So please help us to make a real difference and bring a little happiness and Christmas cheer to the homeless.

With your help, I know WE CAN DO THIS.

Donate what you can on the link above and let them know that someone cares. All donations received in excess of the target will go to the charity for the homeless Tiglin.
