Christine Griffin’s Battle with Cancer

Hello everyone! My name is Christy and I am asking for your support.

Christine Griffin is a friend to so many of us. Christine dedicated 35 years to the Daytona Beach Police Department, starting her career as a 911 dispatcher and retiring as the Police Chief's Administrative Assistant. Additionally, she worked many years for the Daytona International Speedway Security Dispatch.

Christine is an amazing wife to Mike Griffin (whom is also part of the Daytona Beach Police (Retired) family and Nascar Corporation family), mom of two sons that are Active Duty Military Servicemen and a proud grandmother to 6 year old McKayla.

Christine has been diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer that has metastasized to her liver. I am asking for your help to assist with medical expenses and to supplement the lost income that both she and Mike face during this difficult time. If you know Christine and Mike well, you know that Christine is his World therefore it is his priority to stay at Christine’s side during this difficult time for her.

Unfortunately , Chemotherapy treatments are not covered by her medical insurance. The chemotherapy treatment duration is undetermined at this time and each treatment runs into the thousands of dollars.

In the many years that I’ve known this family, The Griffin’s have always been pillars of strength and support for everyone around them. I feel that this is our opportunity to step up for Christine.
