Christies campaign for Feeding America

Want to join me in making a difference?  There are children and families throughout the country that are facing hunger everyday and especially now because of COVID-19. These individuals are unable to experience the routines of having meals that most people are accustomed to. I'm raising money to benefit Feeding America, and any donation will help make an impact.

I am a current student at Monroe Community College, with a hospitality and event planning major. My hospitality event planning class was planning an event to help benefit another non-profit organization. However, due to COVID-19 we were assigned to pick an organization with a mission statement that we were passionate about. I chose Feeding America because I believe it is important that everyone has equal access to healthy and nutritious foods. The meals provided will help people stay healthy and safe during this global pandemic. I LOVE to bake and to be able to share my baked goods with others is such a blessing. I would like to share this blessing by assisting Feeding America to help fight hunger and COVID-19.

With school closures, job disruptions and health risks due to the coronavirus, millions of Americans will turn to food banks for much-needed support. Every day, there are already millions of children and adults who do not get the meals they need. We work to get nourishing food - from farmers, manufacturers, and retailers - to our neighbors.
