Christen Heads To Amsterdam

Hello All,
This summer I have been accepted into the International Theater Wing (ITW) program in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This is a highly selective program that admits only 24 students for seven weeks to experience intensive acting training. At the conclusion of their training, individuals are prepared to work on a wide range of material and in a variety of venues. I am absolutely ecstatic about this opportunity to get out of the country and learn while submerged in another culture.
Finding my life’s passion in Theater has helped me to discover myself and start me on my journey as an agent of change in society. My desires of a premed student have shifted from touching hearts physically, to touching them figuratively and breaking beyond the surface of issues and truths most are afraid to face.
I truly believe that this intensive training at ITW can prepare me with more drive and determination to help me achieve my goals: creating beauty and making strong and deep connections while changing lives (if, at the very least, slightly), and leaving the world a little bit better than when I joined it. With God’s guidance I will stay open and ready to learn, transform, and stand strong for change.
So, I am reaching out to all my loved ones, friends and acquaintances, and to all who inspire me to aid me in the funding of this life changing trip. --- Most of my dreams and education here at NYU couldn't have happened without you!! To further finance my trip I will need to raise money for the flight, housing and meal plan for 7 weeks. Any amount, ANY at all, would be VERY much appreciated!
I am very eager to experience my growth as an artist and my education is very important to me. I hope that you will help me in my endeavors and dreams. Thank you in advance for your support.
