Chris’ road to recovery

Hi, as most of you may know my name is Jasmine, I’m raising funds for my husband/best friend of 10+yrs.

Everyone who knows Chris knows what a hardworking, family driven man he was and still is. On July 23RD our lives changed forever when a day of fun turned into a complete tragedy. Chris has been in ICU for over 2 weeks now after suffering a spinal cord injury. By the grace of God he is stable and continues to make small positive stride every single day and night that he spends with the amazing team at UMASS. He is a true miracle, fighting to get home to his wife, kids and dogs who in which he lives his life for. With Chris being the sole provider doing what he loves working in concrete, not knowing what the future may hold we decided to ask the public for a little support.

Any donations will be used to be put towards hospital bills, rehab & physical therapy. Chris’ injuries will most likely leave him to be wheelchair bound for some unknown amount of time in his long road to recovery. Coming home in a wheelchair will also leave us to make some renovations to our home to accommodate his daily live in needs.

We are not ones to ever ask for help in any aspect of life but this is something that we just have to do. With his line of work we don’t know how long it will be before he gets to go back. Months maybe even years. We hope that his road to recovery is one of the quicker ones. His willpower and strength is out of this world so there is no doubt in my mind that he won’t put his all into a speedy recovery. He’s already beating all the odds in an injury like so and we couldn’t be more grateful that he’s still here on Earth with us today. Any little bit will go a long way and we will FOREVER be grateful for it.
