HELP WANTED:
Relationships are everything. We all love them and we all struggle with them. I am raising FUNDS for 2 reasons. The initial purpose (#1) is to support the development process of my book: A Field Guide To Relationships. I am very excited about this project. It will be a simple and direct as I can make it. It will contain the 10 most repeated lessons/pictures/diagrams I teach my clients. With over 12 years of work in the helping services these tools have been firmly established in my therapy sessions. The book is meant to give you something you can use frequently. I'm cutting out the fluff and getting right to the point. If you want more fluff (wink wink) let's set up a therapy session. I do video sessions almost daily now with clients from Canada to Florida and over to the mid west.
And, now that's the other (#2) reason for this FUND. In the spirit of transparency (it's on my website too), I charge $60-$90 a session for an hour of therapy (sliding scale, no insurance). If you look around that is pretty reasonable, some would say low. BUT here's the kicker I can't turn people away. When someone says they want help I jump in head first. So, the remainder of the fund, of which I will keep in public knowledge, is to support the clients that cannot meet my pay scale. I have clients that pay $10, 20, and $30 a session and I'd rather ask for your help then run them off. I want to keep helping anyone that genuinely wants help.
