Chris Rilk Memorial Fund
Spende geschützt
Dear friends, family, and compassionate souls,
It is with profound grief that I announce the sudden and unforeseen passing of Chirs Rilk. Chris was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, coach, colleague, and amazing friend to all. On November 18, 2023, at the age of 49, Chris left a void in our lives that can never be filled.
In the aftermath of Chris's unexpected departure, Chris's family (Nicole, Jared, and Danika aka. Little D) are left grappling with both the emotional and financial burdens that accompany such a profound loss. I ask that we all unite to celebrate his life, we are reaching out to our community for support in honoring Chris's memory and easing the practical challenges faced by his beloved family.
The funds raised will go towards covering the costs associated with Chris's final arrangements, including the public viewing and services. Additionally, we aim to provide financial support to Chris's wife, Nichole, and their children as they navigate this difficult period. Your contributions will help alleviate the financial strain and allow the family to focus on cherishing the memories of a remarkable man.
To my fellow Marines and Veterans. Throughout the years you have all witnessed Chris be the first one to stand up and help his fellow Marines and Veterans. He was always there for us. No doubt about it; he stood shoulder-to-shoulder with every single one of us. Chris never expected or asked for anything in return. He did it cause that is just the way Chris was. He lived Semper Fidelis to the very end. Chris was the best friend and battle buddy that any of us could ask for. We ask that you all do something to pay tribute (not matter how small) to our fellow brother marine.
About Chris: Chris was born on February 24, 1974, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Linda and Bernd Rilk. A devoted family man, Chris served in the United States Marine Corps, embodying the spirit of brotherhood that he cherished throughout his life. From his early adventures exploring Western Europe with his family to his passionate involvement in soccer and his dedication to his career at Carlson Distributing, Chris's impact was far-reaching.
A loving husband, father, and friend, Chris's vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and genuine kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was a leader in his professional life, a source of strength for his family, and a friend to many.
As we gather to remember Chris and celebrate the light he brought into our lives, your support is invaluable. Please consider making a contribution to help the Rilk family during this difficult time. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser within your network would be deeply appreciated.
Let us join together to honor Chris's legacy and provide comfort to his family as they navigate this profound loss.
Thank you for being a part of the community that surrounds and uplifts the Rilk family in their time of need.
