Chris has been diagnosed with esthesioneuroblastoma.  It is a cancerous tumor located in his sinus cavity between the eyes and goes to his brain lining.  He will have 2 procedures done next Wednesday Nov 14 and Thursday Nov 15 to remove the tumor.  They are not certain at this time if the tumor is involving the eyes. They will be taking part of the brain lining and reconstructing that with a skin graft from his leg.  They will attempt to remove all or most of the tumor going through the nose.  If they have to leave more than they want behind there is a chance he will have to have a second surgery where they open his head to get the tumor.  He will have to have 4-6 weeks of radiation for sure and possible chemo.

He will be off work for several months and unfortunately has no short term or long term disability which means he will not be getting paid.  Which during this time will make it very hard.
