Thank you to all of Child's Play Rockridge community for your support for the past 20 years. We are humbly asking for your continued support to help us through these very trying times.
Local businesses are the heart and soul of our communities. And they are facing a crisis. Social distancing and government-mandated shutdowns are disproportionately affecting businesses that need foot traffic to survive.
Due to the recent COVID19 impact we, Child's Play, are not able to keep our doors open and had to furlough our beloved and dedicated employee, Lillian until further notice. This is not what we want to do but we are left with no choice. We are doing our best to keep business going by updating products on our website, www.childsplayoakland.com in an attempt to "keep the lights on". We will not be able to make it without you!
For over 20 years Child's Play has been a staple in the Rockridge community and we would love to continue our legacy of providing great second hand children's apparel and goods to families in the area for years to come.
We recently found out that GoFundMe.org is matching any small business fundraiser that raises $500! We plan to take advantage of all resources out there to help small businesses like our survive this pandemic.
If you are able to help in any way we will be forever grateful!! All funds will go directly to help Lillian cover her monthly expenses, as well as pay the utility bills and rent at the store.
