Children's Hospital Easter Egg Donations

Donation protected
Hi everyone, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Phoenix and I am 19 years old. Easter is coming up very soon and for those who may not already know, my dad passed away in 2002 when I was 4 months old in a tragic motorbike accident.

My dad was a charity man, he arranged charity events such as: every year he used to do what they call an "Egg Run" leading a convoy from Trowbridge to Bristol Children's Hospital to deliver Easter Eggs and Toys for those children on the wards who may not have received many Easter Eggs. Many of who are without family, or unable to see their family due to their conditions. I remember being little and my mum taking me up to the hospital in the back of the car, and the hospital being so grateful for everything that my dad and his friends had arranged.

19 years later, I'm wanting to do something very similar. As I live in a small village called Ealand, my nearest Children's Hospital is Sheffield Children's Hospital, which is one truly amazing hospital.

I am asking for your donations of any size, to buy these Children on the wards a gift for Easter, may this be an Easter Egg, or some colouring books for those unable to have chocolate eggs.

I will be gradually buying the eggs/activities with your donations, donations can be made directly to me or via Go Fund Me. The donations will then be taken up to the hospital and handed to the main reception desk to comply with the current Covid Regulations.

An easter egg can be bought for as little as 75p, every donation helps, lets give these kids some hope and joy this Easter

Donations will be used to buy the following:

Chocolate Easter Eggs (Suitable for children with no allergies)
Activity Books (Suitable for any allergies)
Haribo's (suitable for Vegetarian/Halal)

Update:

I have increased the target to £500 in donations - I now have the approval for Teddy Bears for the babies/young children on the wards on the condition that they have "self isolated" for 1 week in cellowrap! Teddies are slightly more expensive than an egg at around £2 but I want to make sure that every baby, child, and young adult has a treat for Easter!

Because of Covid, I will not accept actual Teddy donations, I will be buying these from the money donated as I test myself twice a week with lateral flows, I will be steaming the teddies and then wearing gloves and a mask at the time of wrapping. They will need to be wrapped by 26th March. This will ensure that any potential trace of Covid 19 is gone before being given to the children on the wards☺️

I really am thinking about everyone and their safety! Thanks everyone! ❤️
