****UPDATE****
Thank you to everyone who donated. We have reached our goal and no longer need donations. We are truly humbled by all of your support. We cannot wait to replace Chief Miller’s watch.

Original post:
Friends and family, last week Chief Miller was followed home and attacked by two unidentified individuals on his front porch. As he was sitting just outside his front door, he was knocked to the ground and held down by two men as they stole his watch and tried to steal his wedding ring. Chief is ok and that is what really matters. The stolen watch was a retirment gift from the Long Beach Lifeguard Association over 30 years ago. It was engraved with “Chief Miller” on the back. Chief is more than a Lifeguard Chief, he is a pillar of our community, a grandfather, a father, friend and mentor. All are welcome to join us as we support Chief and replace his stolen watch.
