Chewie's Legal Defense Fund

Our group, the Upstate Hash House Harriers, recently held our annual Red Dress Run.  Through that event, we raised nearly $2000 for Pendleton House, a home for at-risk kids and teens. Just as festivities ended, the police showed up, and for some odd reason decided to arrest Chewie, our GM, who ended up having to stay locked up overnight.  He was charged with open container on a public street, when in fact he was holding an unopened beverage and we were on private property. Normally this is merely a ticket-able offence, and no one could tell him why he was actually in detention. 
The goal of this GFM is to raise the necessary funds for paying his attorney in getting these charges dismissed.
Any monies raised above and beyond what is needed for his defense will also go to the Pendleton House!!!
