Cheshire for Ukraine 5K Run - Walk

We are a group of local runners, who are working together with Razom Inc to raise funds in support of relief efforts in Ukraine.

 

For the last two months, as we witnessed Russia raining death and destruction on Mariupol, Kharkiv, Irpen, and other Ukrainian towns and cities; listened to the stories of escape and survival that rival historical accounts of WWII, we all have been looking for ways to help. This is why we pulled together to do what we know best: organize a 5K run/walk in Cheshire, CT.

The funds raised during the event will be donated to Razom, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization that provides critical humanitarian war relief and recovery depending on the most urgent needs as they evolve.

We are asking for a $25 donation for in-person adult participants, $10 per child and $15 for those who want to join virtually.

The run/walk will be held in Cheshire on May 21st, 2022.  Lock 12 Historic Park  487 North Brooksvale Road, Cheshire, CT. We will kick off at 8:30 am with coffee, snacks and kids' activities. Our friends from Razom will be joining us as well to share their story and speak about the impact of the relief effort.

The run/walk will begin at 9:00 am and will conclude by 11:00 am. It's open to anyone who wants to run or walk this easy course.
