Cher needs our help. She was surrendered to the shelter yesterday with her brother, Sonny, and within a few hours, it was clear she was declining. She was vomiting, having bloody stool, and was extremely lethargic. We rushed her to the vet expecting her to be positive for Parvo but multiple tests came back negative. Upon further testing, Cher's bloodwork came back rather grim. Her white blood cell was shockingly low and she was in need of a blood transfusion to stabilize her. She also was infested with worms beyond that we have seen in a typical puppy. One our Alumni pups was able to step up and rush to the vets and provide Cher with the transfusion to give her the best chance at survival. She is now hospitalized and the vets are doing everything they can to keep her stabilized and give her the strength to keep food down and pull through. Cher will likely require multiple days in the hospital and her vet bill is already substantial so we are asking for your help in donating to her recovery. Thank you so much for the support! We will keep everyone updated on how she is doing.
