Dear everyone, I am currently enrolled in St.Louis community college. I had a class and my last professor HIGHLY recommended Gary Fourtney. I choose to take a class with Gary and he has generously taken the time to teach everything that he has learned in his years and wants everybody to succeed in his class. My classmates and I have taken the opportunity to raise money for this kind,amazing person. I never wanted to really go to school until I had a class with Gary. Currently Gary has Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, or CLL. which is in stage 4. There is no cure for him at the moment and he has been given chemo. He recently has been informed that he has to pay out of pocket for his treatments. Gary’s background is very interesting. Gary is currently in charge and oversees all of Vista Law Enforcement Training and Consulting, LLC's consulting services to law enforcement agencies, legal entities, and private corporations. Gary also prepares and constructs all of Vista Law Enforcement Training and Consulting, LLC's Missouri Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) training programs. After completion, they are reviewed by President, Brian Hilke, and submitted to the Missouri POST Commission for final approval and certification.
During his 30-year career, Gary was assigned as a detective for over 24 years, including 14 in the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons, Homicide Unit. Gary also served 7 years in the Bureau of Drug Enforcement, where he was assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) Task Force in both the Tactical Intelligence Unit and the Financial Crimes (Money Laundering) Group. For the remaining 3 years, Gary was assigned to the Burglary Unit, where he initially began his investigative career in 1983. In February 2023, Gary was selected as a Team Adam Consultant/Trainer for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) professionals.
