Charlottesville Little Food Pantry

Donation protected
The COVID-19 Student Service Corps at the University of Virginia was created this spring to support healthcare facilities and address needs within the Charlottesville community. Food insecurity is a prevalent concern within Charlottesville which has been exacerbated by COVID-19. We are fundraising to create mini food pantries, which are small pantries stocked with food and personal care items. The goal of the mini food pantry is to rally community engagement and support by encouraging people to take what they need and donate what they can. We hope to build several mini food pantry structures to place in key areas throughout Charlottesville, and keep them stocked with non-perishable food and personal care items. Our goal is to raise $3000 to combat the widespread prevalence of food insecurity in Charlottesville, and 100% of the money raised will go to constructing the pantries and keeping them stocked. We are grateful for any and all donations.
