Hi, My name is Siana. Aunty Siana to a special little boy.

Anyone who knows us will know we are very private people and NEVER ask for help but here goes..

This is our beautiful brave charlie bear.

At the age of just 2 years old charlie was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - please please, if never heard of - read the link I have attached with some information about this awful disease.

ABOUT DUCHENNE

Over the last 6 months, it has become extremely difficult as a family to watch this disease deteriorate our little Soldier.

He is 9 years old and can no longer walk.

The heartbreak you feel when he asks why he can no longer do the things he used to..

With his heart being an important muscle, and with this muscle wasting disease his heart has rapidly declined. 

We as a family do not know how long Charlie has in life but we do know we want to make his life as special and memorable as possible. 

So the reason for this page

Charlie has had his very own bedroom and bathroom built on the side of the house to give him some independence with hoists and a big shower . He's super excited to get settled down in there.

He would love it if we could all club together and decorate his bedroom and make it super special for him.

the funds will be used for special flooring so he can manoeuvre his electric wheelchair around on his own. (Flooring been priced at 1k) Special remote control blinds so he can open them himself when he wakes up and just general decoration that he can choose himself.
