Charlie Kubala Jr & Bennie

Charlie Kubala Jr. was the son of my best friend and partner in law enforcement. His father was gun down in the line of duty Feb. 26, 1996. His dad was shot twice in an active robbery of a home. Charlie Jr. was 10 years old at the time of his father’s death. Although there has been a lot of time gone by, it has continued to be very difficult to deal with.

I have tried to help and guide Charlie Jr. over the years. He currently has one year old son named Bennie. He lives in West Ashly area and works full time in the food service business. This past year has been really rough, the mother of his son was arrested and can no longer financially help nor can she visit with her son without supervision. Charlie’s was also involved in a car accident which was not his fault and totaled his car, which he does not have the funds to replace it.

 
Charlie is trying to raise his son on his own but it has been difficult. He is unable to take on another job at this current time, due to his duties as a father after work. I have continued to be a support person for him and his son. I try to meet with him a few times a month. I take him out to dinner, to the movies, give him clothes, got him enrolled in Financial Peace University at Seacoast church and many other things. He is an outstanding young man who has fallen on hard times. He is a graduate of Clemson University.

I am asking for your help. I would like to raise some funds to help him during the Christmas holidays. I am in hope the fund might be able to get him a car and or other items. God has blessed me and my family and now I am trying to pay it forward by helping Charlie.
