Charity fundraiser for Amber & Luke

Update:

It is with great sadness we must announce that on Thursday 23rd November 2023, we sadly lost Amber’s loving father, Luke. We pay tribute to him as an exceptional father who lived for his daughter. Luke was a serving Hertfordshire Police Constable and as a family we could not be prouder of the things he achieved in his short 31 years.

In October 2021, Luke ran the London Marathon for the Herts Air Ambulance. After suffering the tragic loss of Amber under the circumstances surrounding her allergy, we know he would have wanted us to continue to also raise money for Evelina London Allergy Research; two very worthwhile causes. As a family we ask that instead of flowers, any one who would like can continue to give to this fund in both of their names.

In loving memory of Amber, we are fundraising for two worthy causes: Air Ambulance UK and Allergy Research at Evelina London Children's Hospital.

Amber gave so much in her bright, joyful life and reminded us all of the importance of kindness. As many of you know, she was a voracious learner, endlessly curious, funny and creative. Her many journals are filled with notes encouraging herself to "Be brave" and know that "no matter what happens, you can be amazing if you believe in yourself!". Amber taught us so much about how to live and cherish each other through her endless love and affection for those around her.

Both of these charities embody Amber's vibrant and compassionate spirit. The dedicated staff at Air Ambulance UK show extraordinary bravery in their lifesaving work, while Evelina's scientific curiosity fuels vital research to help care for children with allergies.
