Chapo Needs OUR help.

Chapo has a recurrent urethral prolapse. He had two previous small surgeries in which they tacked the mucosa down once and then placed a purse string the second time. The current surgery he needs is a urethral mucosal resection and anastomosis where we remove the herniated tissue and suture the penis. He also needs to be neutered as this will decrease the risk of recurrence. He has a focal thickening in his bladder which we cannot say if it is irritation of the bladder wall vs tumor but would be very strange to have a tumor this young. Severe UTI can certainly cause straining and recurrent urethral prolapse so we shall help Chapo and start his journey with us at Fur-Ever Able.
