I am humbly knocking at your heart's door.. I am currently raising funds for my sister's boyfriend Reymart Raquiza. Reymart is 29 years old and living in Big Island, Hawaii with my family. He was diagnosed 5 years ago of end-stage renal disease.
At first, it was only a gout diagnosis. After few months, the doctor delivered a very heartbreaking news, both of his kidneys are failing and he needed an immediate kidney transplant. He underwent surgery where they put a permanent catheter. Since then, he's been undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis for eleven (11) excruciating hours everyday. He's been in and out of the hospital and the stress it brings is enough for anyone to just give up. Not the mention the growing medical bills and prescription costs add frustration to him and his family.
It has been 5 years and there's no donor yet available in the US, sad to say but we are running out of time. We are planning to have his kidney transplant here in the Philippines to which his health insurance wouldn't cover. I am appealing to your kind heart for any help to cover his personal expenses in his impending kidney transplant operation.
