Cervical cancer sucks, it can happen to any female and it happened to me. The course of treatment still unknown for me, I have stage 2b cervical cancer with an enlarged lymph node, the results of the PET CT haven't come back yet and we have no idea what will happen along the way.
We are looking at possible surgeries, before they can even treat the cancer with radiation and chemotherapy, and a possible hysterectomy.
Some of the treatment might be here in Sioux City, Ia, but sometimes we will have to travel to Omaha, Ne.
It has already been taxing on our family (we have 3 young girls), my husband has had to take some time off because of the medication I am on. I have sever phobia of medical situations and have had to seek mental counciling in order to even go to doctors visits. I cannot imagine how this will end up playing out.
Our family can use any help that we can get and will appreciate it very much.
