Celine Medical Help

Celine just celebrated her 21st birthday on May 5th, 2015 after returning from the Philippines on March 5th, 2015. Our goal is to help raise money for her medical expenses. She was diagnosed incorrectly while in Philippines for Thalassemia Major and treated for it. Due to the constant blood transfusions, her tiny body collected too much iron that led to complications of her heart, liver and spleen that make her extremely ill. As a result she had a mild stroke.

  Due to the severity of Celine’s current medical condition, her Doctors from Providence Hospital have sent her to Swedish Hospital in Seattle WA for a liver biopsy and possible liver transplant. Celine was then transferred to the Seattle Children’s Hospital for evaluation because she has dropped to 59 pounds, and she has a very small body frame.

  She is scheduled to have a bone marrow biopsy, heart surgery, and oral surgery. She may require a liver and bone marrow transplant. Celine is a brave spirited young lady and has been fighting very hard for her life since 2010. Celine and her Mother have just been reunited after a 15 year seperation.
