Celebration of life for Brandi Belcher (Helm)

Over the last few days I have struggled to find the words to share with everyone some very devastating news. Many of you already know, and some of you do not, but this past Thursday my sister passed away after complications during surgery. It still doesn’t seem real, and my family and I are really struggling with this unexpected and terrible loss. She was the kindest, most selfless person I knew, ever since we were little kids. She had hit some rough patches these past few years, which unfortunately created some distance between us for the first time in our entire lives. Although this is absolutely heart breaking for all of our family and friends, I have to say that I am so happy to be able to say that for the last year of her life she had gotten past those rough patches and just wanted to have her family back in her life. She overcame so many obstacles, and stayed so strong just to be with us. I had missed her very much, and it was so good to have her back. I’ll always be grateful for every minute I had with her. All I wish is that we could’ve had more time.
