Honoring The Life Of My Brother Torry

Dear friends and family,

With a heavy heart, I share that my beloved brother, Lawrence Jerome “Torry” Rice Jr., passed away. Our family is navigating deep grief while also carrying the responsibility of giving him the memorial service he truly deserves.

We have endured great loss in recent years, and now, as we prepare to celebrate Torry’s life, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Torry leaves behind three beautiful children and ten grandchildren, each of whom carry his spirit forward. They are doing their best to support this process, but with families of their own, it is a tremendous strain.

I am humbly asking for your help to make it possible to honor Torry with a magnificent celebration of his life—one that reflects the love, joy, humor, and generosity he shared with so many. Your contributions will go directly toward memorial costs easing the financial stress on his children, and allowing us to focus on what matters most: coming together as a family to honor his memory.
