With deep sadness, I share the passing of my beloved uncle, Crecencio Perez—known to so many simply as CP.

If you knew CP, you knew someone with a heart bigger than life itself. He was the kind of person who always showed up—with laughter, loyalty, and love. To our family, he wasn’t just an uncle; he was a protector, a provider, and a constant source of strength.

CP wasn’t just a husband, father, brother, or uncle—he was the glue that held so many of us together. He was a loving husband to his wife Becky, a devoted father to his two sons, and a proud grandfather to six beautiful grandchildren. His presence lit up every room, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled.

We take comfort in knowing that CP is now reunited with his parents in heaven, especially his father, pictured here with him. This photo captures the love between generations—something CP carried with him every day.

As we begin to plan his memorial, we’re also facing unexpected expenses. This GoFundMe has been created to help cover funeral and memorial costs, and to support his wife Becky and their family during this incredibly difficult time.
