WHO WE ARE:
Community Cooks Collective (CCCollective) is a mutual-aid organization dedicated to cooking and transporting meals for members of Montreal’s homeless population, namely those who participate in Resilience Montreal's services. Established at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in Montreal, we are completely run by volunteers and are committed to building community in a time of social isolation.

HOW YOU, THE DONOR, HELP US!
Your donations allow us to purchase ingredients to distribute to our community members who then cook huge batches of pasta bakes, chili, casserole, and tofu-potato scrambles. We collect these buckets of food and deliver them to be distributed to those in need on a weekly basis at Resilience Montreal, located in Cabot Square.

We purchase ingredients in bulk once a month from Costco. This purchase covers the majority of ingredients for 200 meals a week, costing around $50 a week. Our shopping list includes 50lb sacks of potatoes and onions, pounds of tofu, cans on cans of tomatoes and bags of dried beans.
