Help Hannah

As many of you know, our baby Hannah is at Riley Hospital and will be having surgery on Wednesday.

The last two weeks have been incredibly hard for us, a lot of unknowns, questions that weren't answered and A LOT of stress. There's still some unknowns regarding everything, but so far all the testing and her symptoms point towards what's called "Biliary Atresia" which basically means that her liver ducts are blocked or not formed correctly preventing her from passing bile through her body, in turn disrupting blood flow and numerous other issues. She will be having a procedure called the "kasai procedure." Removal of the gallbladder and the damaged and/or nonformed parts of the liver and attaching a part of the small intestine to allow bile to pass through.

This, still will most likely require Hannah needing a liver transplant in the future as this procedure is predicted to only ha e a 30% success rate.

Due to the circumstances, I have had to take a lot of time off work to be with Hannah at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis which is 150 miles from home. I’ve been out several weeks and still need to be a couple more as they will be keeping Hannah for at least 10 days after the surgery.

I am not one to ask for help, but this situation is out of my control and we need to be with our daughter.

Our medical bills and living expenses are getting out of reach for us to handle.

Any help you can give would be very much appreciated. Even more importantly, prayers are needed for our precious Hannah.
