When we adopted Max ten years ago we had already saved up for it, having anticipated his ultimate arrival.  We had the fees we needed for our Home Study, background checks, filing fees, attorney's fees and all the money for his baby furniture, clothes, etc.  We were SO ready for him.  And then, on July 29th, we were entrusted with the care of a 5 year old boy--James (Jamie).  WE WERE NOT EXPECTING THIS!!!!!  So here we are--very little money for fees, etc.  We had set aside some money for a vacation but decided we would MUCH rather have another child--so, we have been able to buy him school clothes, and a few other miscellaneous things, and we  are setting up some doctors' appointments and stuff to get ready for Kindergarten, but we really need help covering some of these other costs. The home study alone is going to be around two thousand dollars.  Marc, Max, and I all really appreciate any help you can offer.  And this sweet child will some day look back, see the sacrifice his mother Carla made, see how many people welcomes him into a new life, and say, "Wow--I was really wanted!"  (Isn't he a beautiful boy?)  We are SO excited about this opportunity!  We will keep you all posted on his progress as we go.  Thank you!  And God bless you all.
