Cayla's custody legal fees

On February 1, our dear friend, Martin Weston passed away, leaving behind his 11 year old daughter, Cayla.  Cayla was initially taken to Child Protective Services, as her mother is not able to take care of her on her own.  Cayla is now staying with her best friend's family, the Crosbys, who have been granted temporary custody.  Prior to Martin's passing, he had indicated to the Crosbys that he would want them to take Cayla if something were to happen to him, and Cayla would also like to stay with them.  Due to the absence of a proper will, the Crosbys require the services of an attorney to help them through the custody process.  The Crosbys are already taking on so much with the added responsibilities of another child, so I have set up this GoFundMe campaign so we can assist them with these unexpected legal costs.
