Catharina's Fight Against Breast Cancer

My mom, Catharina Preuss is the nicest, most humble, and caring person you will ever meet in your life. She is a mother of two boys and even though she is currently going through a divorce she is doing everything in her power to take care of them and keep them happy. After moving to Michigan from Germany in 2015, Catharina has been dealing with a lot of health problems. However, even after visiting countless doctors and getting put on countless prescriptions, her health status did not seem to improve.
On May 11th, Catharina was diagnosed with IDC Stage 2 Breast Cancer.
She has been fighting through a lot of diversity over the past couple of years, dealing with mental health issues as well as being in the middle of going through a divorce. Combining all these events together surely has not been easy for her but guiding her through this process I’m so impressed and proud to see that she keeps on fighting and does not seem to give up. She will be having surgery and the following chemotherapy coming up soon and the expenses are very costly. Besides her two children, Catharina’s whole family still lives in Germany, and while currently being unemployed, and even with insurance covering some of the costs, she is nowhere close to being able to cover all the upcoming expenses. Not being able to cover these expenses could lead to her having to move back to Germany and leaving both of her sons behind.
My mom has always supported me and has been my #1 supporter and fan ever since I was a little kid. By setting up this fundraiser I want to help her beat cancer, start a new life and help her overcome this difficult phase that she is going through.
Any donation would mean more than the world to me and will go towards her cancer treatment, as well as personal expenses that come up while she is recovering and looking for a new job.
