Catching a Falling Leaf: A Student Film

We are a group of film students from Columbia College Chicago, completing our capstone project before our graduation.

Curses can be turned into blessings just as easily as strangers can turn into life-long friends. Our story encourages the audience to take risks in life, and embrace your instincts no matter how unreasonable that may seem. Set in Chicago, this is a story of how the city brings people together. This city has a history deeply rooted in union labor, diversity, and cultural expression. We aim to continue these traditions of this city as shown through our setting, the characters, their story, and the techniques we use to capture them on real 16mm film.

We have three gratitude tiers:
