Your donation is powerful. With your donation, Beira’s Casa da Cultura in Mozambique can start its journey to recovery after a destructive cyclone in 2019. It is Beira’s national theatre and is central to the city’s cultural heritage.
Mozambique is the third poorest country in the world. After Cyclone Idai in 2019, Beira’s Casa da Cultura was heavily damaged and closed. It has been unable to afford its restoration.
Culture gives people identity and feelings of belonging and security. I lived and worked in Beira Mozambique in 2021/22. Your support can make enormous impact in the context of Mozambique.
