Dear friends, family, and compassionate individuals,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts to share the devastating news of the unexpected passing of Manuel Guzman, a dedicated father, and a true American hero. On November 2nd, Manuel lost his life to pulmonary embolisms and heart failure, leaving behind his beloved twins, Caroline and Carlos.

Manuel Guzman was an exceptional man who devoted 21 years of his life to serving in the Army, defending our country with honor and valor. After his military service, Manuel joined the BNSF Railway, where he continued to contribute to society until his retirement in 2020. His retirement was a conscious decision to prioritize spending quality time with his family, cherishing every moment with his children.

Caroline and Carlos, both high-school seniors, are the epitome of resilience and determination. Caroline has been accepted into three prestigious universities: Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and Tarleton. Meanwhile, Carlos aspires to follow in his father's footsteps by joining the United States Army ROTC program at Tarleton. These remarkable young individuals have worked tirelessly throughout their academic journey, and their accomplishments are a testament to their intelligence and dedication.

In the wake of this tragic loss, we want to extend our support to Caroline and Carlos by alleviating some of the financial burden associated with their future educational endeavors. As a community, we have an incredible opportunity to come together and ensure these deserving individuals have the chance to pursue their dreams and build a promising future.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that you consider making a donation to the college fund established for Caroline and Carlos. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on their lives and provide them with the necessary resources to thrive academically.

Your generous donations will directly assist their mother in covering tuition fees, books, housing, and other educational expenses. By supporting their college fund, we can honor Manuel's legacy by helping his children achieve the educational goals he held dear.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude for your consideration and support during this challenging time. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of Caroline and Carlos, ensuring they have the opportunity to continue their education and secure a bright future.

Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks to extend the reach of our cause. Your kindness and generosity will forever be remembered and cherished by the Guzman family.

Thank you for your compassion and support.
