The Story of Carlo Caligula Hellblaster

Anyone who knows Carlo, knows that he is an honest hardworking generous guy who would never ask for anything and always help others.

Carlo had just finished working a double shift in a busy kitchen in Edinburgh and came home to smoke his bong before setting his alarm so that he could get up In time to make his flight to Germany for his concert playing drums for Nyctopia at Boarstream Open Air.

When Carlo woke up, he realised he had slept through his alarm and missed his flight. He flew into a rage and punched the brick wall, fracturing his hand.

Carlo came to his senses and bought a return flight with Lufthansa for £350.
Everything was going well, when it came to show time we gave Carlo loads of drugs (mostly legal )to help with the pain and swelling in his hand.

Carlo played a great set despite having a fractured hand and Nyctopia + Goblin boy settled down to get drunk with Home Reared Meat and other amazing people for the rest of the festival.

On Sunday morning as everyone was leaving, Carlo realised he would not make his original flight but it was ok as the Lufthansa return was for Monday.

Radocunt drove Carlo to Frankfurt airport and dropped him off 24 hours before his flight.
What could go wrong?

Carlo, having had next to no sleep for several days, with his hand in a lot of pain decided he would go for a nap in a dark corner of the car park under Frankfurt airport.

When Carlo woke up, he saw that all his luggage was gone. All that was left was his shoes and half a bottle of water and a few coins in his pocket. Even his passport and wallet and mobile phone were gone.

Carlo then had to go to the police to report the theft and then had to get a bus into Frankfurt to get an emergency passport from the Italian consulate. Carlo did not have enough money to get back to the airport and had missed his flight anyway so he begged for a while in the streets and managed to get the bus fare back to the airport.

Once at the airport he explained to Lufthansa what had happened and Germans being really nice ans understanding gave him a free flight back to Edinburgh.

Carlo is mostly upset about the memories and sentimental value of what was stolen. For example all the cool photos and videos of the festival but also a signed shirt by Godflesh Apocalypse, his new kilt and other metal shirts that were dear to him.

This fund raiser is to help mitigate the financial impact of what was stolen and the cost of the emergency passport, his Tama speed Cobra 910 pedals and extra flight, his mobile phone.

All money raised will go to new double bass pedals.

The smallest amount is appreciated.

Thanks
