Caring for Catie
Donation protected
After a routine procedure to address an old injury to her nose, Catie Hoeschen was diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC) on June 22, 2022.
ACC is a rare disease that affects 1,200 people a year in the United States. While Catie is fortunate to have an early diagnosis and has an excellent oncology team and surgery team at the Mayo, the cancer has invaded her nasal bone.
Catie starts her journey in a few short weeks, which includes multiple face surgeries, six weeks of daily radiation and chemo, skin grafting and an extended reconstruction process. This will all make it impossible for Catie to work at the job she loves as an assistant Manager at Pearle Vision in Eden Prarie.
During this time, Catie will have medical costs, lodging & travel and living expenses and no source of income for six months during treatment.
Please keep Catie, Brad, Clyde and Stella in your thoughts. If you are able, please contribute to this GoFundMe and share it with your family and friends.
Help Catie's spark shine and support her for a smooth treatment and recovery process!
