Care for Kids - Operation Christmas Child

For the past 10 years Care for Kids and partners have generated Christmas presents for children who are poorly either in hospital or living at home. Equally we have supported children who are  living in poverty, and struggle on a day to day basis.

A number of the children we connect with would not receive even one  Christmas present what so ever...

As a volunteering charitable organisation we strive each Christmas to raise funds, which provides gifts for these children, just so we can generate a smile on Christmas day . We are reliant upon donations and support from the public, our work colleagues, friends, and relatives. We know first hand what a difference this makes to young people.

Over the past years we have supported children from some of  the most deprived area's across the UK, many  of whom are living below the poverty line, and a significant percentage are suffering with despicable illnesses.
Every year we are contacted by families and organisations  who express gratitude for what we do, this we share to as many of our donors/supporters as possible. The feedback is a bonus, and we are delighted to hear just how much the children enjoy getting a gift.

We know that we are living in difficult times, however we feel that even more important in this day and age that we help those less fortunate. that is why we are asking for your help.

Over the past months it has been life changing for most of us, we are learning to adapt within our own lives in so many unimaginable ways. Last year over 2000  Christmas gifts were delivered to children, either funded by Care for Kids or donated by a company, organisation or a kind hearted person just like you .

Our fund raising has been none existent this year, with the majority of funds we raise are via  licensed premises (pubs, bars etc). The lack of funds has lead to concern and it is heartbreaking the impact it has had on what we do year in year out each Christmas. So this year the  Care for Kids Operation Christmas Child appeal will be slightly different , and to enable us to support the children we will be even more reliant on "good will gestures" and donations to achieve this.

This year we have decided to provide a Christmas "GOODY BAG" for each child, this will include a selection box, snacks and a multi gender/ age  gift for each recipient.

We aspire to provide "Goody Bags" to as many children as financially possible, and  that is were we hope you can help.

A donation of however small can make a big difference. Once we have generated the "Goody Bags" we can ensure that they are collected and then delivered to the children in time for Christmas.

(We will of course be observing Government guidelines and social distancing).

As you would expect this all takes time and a little organising, therefore if you wish to make a donation can we please ask that it is made on or before:

Friday 27th November 2020.

Every year we see and hear what a difference you have made with your support and generosity to a child Christmas.

We hope that you can help us  to help those children who need it most, however small and what ever you can afford.

Thank you and stay safe and well.
