Our Fighter, Super Jace

Spende geschützt
Our sweet Jace received his angel wings last night, 6/30/19, at 9:10 P.M. His parents, Brittney and Jeremy, were able to take him out to the garden at Children’s Hospital, to watch one last sunset with him. You were such a fighter, Jace. You inspired so many people, and you will forever be in our hearts. We love you.

Update, 6/11/19:

Hi, everyone. This is Shelly, providing an update on Jace. We thank everyone for the continuous support and prayers during this very trying time. It’s hard to believe Jace has been fighting this battle since December. A couple weeks ago, Jace almost left us, and since then, he has had obstacles that we are hoping he will be able to overcome. He continues to have seizures; though, thankfully today, he has been free of them! All of the doctors and nurses at Children’s have been giving this sweet boy the best care they possibly can, and they continue to try to solve the mystery behind what is causing all of this.

Brittney and Jeremy have been so appreciative of everything their loved ones, friends, and even strangers have given them. There are so many people who love that little boy and are continuing to pray for him to win this ongoing battle he’s sadly been faced with at such a young age.

A Facebook page has been created for Jace: https://m.facebook.com/Super-Jace-2828520720706346/

Jace just celebrated his 1st birthday. There is certainly a lot to celebrate for this little guy! He has had a very rough first year of life: wearing a helmet to correct his head shape in order to protect his brain, neurology appointments to determine if there are issues, physical therapy for low muscle tone, speech therapy to strengthen his neck/throat, and a hospital stay due to RSV.

Unfortunately, these things cost money...a lot of money. Another big blow came yesterday when Jace had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital because of low oxygen levels; he was diagnosed with aspirated pneumonia. He’s now enduring another hospital stay to get treatment and receive monitoring until he is deemed ok to go home.

With loving parents that had to go through years of pregnancy issues and miscarriages, Jace was a miracle. They are faced with so many bills due to the medical treatments Jace has already had, and now this hospitalization will add more to that amount. We want to help raise money for Jace’s medical bills, so his parents can focus on him and not worry about how to pay for his growing medical bills. This bright eyed, chubby cheeked, giggly, handsome boy is a fighter!!
