Gifting Money To Captain Tom On His 100th Birthday

As per our last update, we will be donating the money raised directly to NHS Charities Together as per the wishes of Tom and his team. I’ve been in touch with the Go Fund Me team and they have advised that I would need to withdraw the money to my own bank account and then donate it myself to the aforementioned cause. Of course I will be donating via Tom’s Go Fund Me page, but if this closes before the money has been transferred to me, I will donate to the charity directly and I’ll provide everybody evidence of this. Captain Tom Moore has currently raised over £20 million for NHS Charities Together by walking 100 laps of his garden by his 100th birthday at the end of April.

We think we can all agree that he is a marvellous man and we thought it would be amazing if we could come together and raise some funds as a gift for his 100th birthday to show him how proud we are.

The idea is to gift the money to Captain Tom for his birthday for him to do as he pleases. It could be that he chooses to donate this money to his original campaign too.

We’ve been in contact with Tom’s representative and we have agreed that it would be a lovely surprise for him and his family.
