Cape Verdean-Jewish Passover Seder
Tax deductible
Cape Verdeans and Jews. Jews and Cape Verdeans. What do we have in common? The Cape Verdean-Jewish Passover Seder is an annual event of cultural connection between these two groups that previously had had little contact with each other in Boston. Since 2006 this extraordinary occasion has brought together Jews and Cape Verdeans to share and celebrate what we have learned are wide areas of commonality between our two communities.
A group of volunteers help organize this FREE event, but it is not free to organize and run. We are asking for you help to make this event a success, and any contribution is gladly welcome!
We have partnered with Massachusetts Alliance of Portuguese Speakers (MAPS) to be our fiscal agent, and all donations will go to them and then to us. Because MAPS is a 501(c)(3) organization, your donation is tax deductible, and your company may even match your charitable contributions!
